Walk for Soil. Walk for the Future.

Join families and community members at San Ramon Central Park in San Ramon on May 3 for the Save Soil Walkathon—a free, one-hour walk to raise awareness about soil degradation, one of the most urgent and least visible environmental crises of our time.

The UN projects that 90% of Earth’s soils could be degraded by 2050, threatening food security, water systems, and climate stability worldwide. This family-friendly event includes hands-on soil displays for children and is part of a global movement supported by the FAO, UNEP, and UNCCD.
