Join TVC and partners as we take on the City Nature Challenge.

TVC will be leading an observation outing at Holdener Park in Livermore on Sunday, April 26th from 4:30 - 6:30 pm.

We will be demonstrating the iNaturalist app to snap photos of the plants, animals, and insects you see, and upload these observations to our local Bay Area iNaturalist page. ⁠

About the CNC

The CNC is an annual four-day global bioblitz at the end of April, where cities are in a collaboration-meets-friendly-competition to see what can be accomplished when we all work toward a common goal.

Started in 2016 as a competition between Los Angeles and San Francisco, the City Nature Challenge (CNC) has grown into an international event, motivating people around the world to find and document wildlife in their own cities.
Together, we’ll contribute to global biodiversity research and celebrate the diversity of nature. ⁠
