Community Forum: What’s Happening in South Livermore’s Vineyards?

Livermore’s winegrowing heritage is a treasured part of our identity, but recent concerns about vineyards being pulled out have left many wondering what the future holds.

Tri-Valley Conservancy (TVC) is hosting a public community forum to bring together local experts to shed light on the real challenges facing South Livermore’s vineyards and what’s being done to protect them.

Please join us on Tuesday, February 10th, 2026, from 5:30 – 7:00 PM at the Robert Livermore Community Center, Palo Verde Room,  located at 4444 East Ave, Livermore, CA 94550.

The program will feature structured presentations from:

  • Wine industry experts, offering insight into current market trends, vineyard transitions, and pressures shaping the future of South Livermore.

  • Local vineyard and winery owners, sharing firsthand experiences and the realities behind recent land use decisions.

  • TVC staff, providing a clear explanation of conservation easements, including how they work, what they protect, and common misconceptions.

A moderated Q&A will follow, allowing for thoughtful community input. A short reception will close the evening.
