925 GIVES, the East Bay's regional giving movement dedicated to strengthening local nonprofits and inspiring a culture of community philanthropy throughout the 925 region.

Last year's campaign raised more than $117,000 for 87 local nonprofit organizations. The 2026 campaign will culminate in a 24-hour online giving event on Friday, September 25, 2026 (9/25/26), with an expanded giving window that allows donors to participate before and after the official giving day.

Rooted in 3VCF’s mantra to Give, Grant, and Grow, the 925 GIVES initiative aims to spark a groundswell of local generosity, boost unrestricted support for nonprofits, and build a stronger, more connected philanthropic ecosystem across the inland communities of Alameda and Contra Costa counties.

Named for the region's iconic 925 area code, the campaign serves 23 East Bay cities encompassing nearly one million households and approximately 2.85 million residents throughout Alameda and Contra Costa counties.

Eligible nonprofits—those in good standing and pre-registered in 3VCF’s growing Nonprofit Directory—can sign up beginning Thursday, July 30 to participate and receive free access to training, fundraising templates, marketing tools, and ongoing donor engagement resources.
