Join us for a day of Olive Picking!

Did you know there are over 15,000 olive trees planted on protected farmland in Livermore?

Some olive trees in the valley can be dated back to 1881!

Join TVC to hand pick olives on a local ranch in Livermore.

There will be several options of what you can do with your olives after harvesting:

  1. Keep the ones you picked for your own processing

  2. Bring your olives to Olivina’s Community Milling Day to turn them into oil.

  3. Give TVC your olives, and receive a bottle of extra virgin olive oil after milling a few days later.

The event will take place in mid to late November. The date will be released when we have more information about milling dates.

Pre-Register Now

This initial sign-up does not register you for the event or guarantee a spot. Once we have a date confirmed, we will email you with more information so you can officially register for this event.

Space will be limited. We look forward to harvesting with you soon!

**Please note this event is subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.**

No tools or ladders will be permitted. TVC will have extra gloves and harvesting equipment (i.e. tarps and buckets). If you want to keep what olives you pick please bring a suitable container to transport your own olives. TVC will not be able to provide extra containers. After picking the olives we will also be sorting them to remove any olives that might have insect damage to make sure that they will be accepted upon inspection at the mill.
