Sharon Burnham, Executive Director - Sharon is a native of Los Angeles. After relocating to New Jersey in 1975, she became active and successful in fund raising for local and regional not-for-profit organizations. She was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Monmouth Conservation Foundation, a land trust, for over ten years. When the Foundation's Executive Director resigned in 1994, her fellow Trustees asked her to take the helm of the organization. In 2002 she and her husband decided to move back to California to be closer to her family. She accepted the position of TVC Executive Director and settled in Livermore. Sharon has two children, a son and his family who live in Discovery Bay and a daughter and her family who are in Scottsdale, Arizona. She also has two stepchildren who reside in New Jersey with their respective families.
Laura Mercier, Associate Director - Laura was born in Colorado. Her family moved to Livermore in 1978. Prior to joining TVC she worked 15 years as a Project Manager/Engineer, including 10 years at Boeing on the C17 Airlift System in Long Beach. She also consulted as a Project Manager for a wide range of companies including Environmental Education for Kids, Culldez Product Development, and Thermal Press International. In 1998 Laura moved back to Livermore to be closer to her family. She joined the Tri-Valley Conservancy December 2002 as Stewardship Director focusing on land stewardship. She holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of California-Irvine. Outside of TVC Laura enjoys playing piano, racing her 1967 912 Porsche, gardening, and painting.
Monica DePalmo , Stewardship - Monica was born in Berkeley and raised in San Leandro.  Her background includes engineering and project management. She joined the Tri-Valley Conservancy 2007 as TVC's Stewardship Coordinator focusing on stewardship. Monica currently resides in San Jose with her husband, Dan and two children Claire and Charlie.

Barbara Graham , Office Manager - Barbara joined the Conservancy staff in 2006 as Office Manager.  The Office Manager’s primary responsibility is to provide day-to-day administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the Conservancy office.  Barbara is well suited for the position as she possesses over 15 years of experience in office administration and management.  Barbara grew up in Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma.  She and her family moved to Pleasanton in 1990.  She is married and has two children: a son and family in South Carolina, and a daughter in Pleasanton.  She and her husband love to travel and work on their home remodel projects.
